I am fortunate enough to be one of his students. Nightly I get to learn from him, his insights, knowledge, experience and skill. I feel so incredible that I get to pass on his technique thru my massages. I heard from several people already that I gave them the best massage they have ever had. That is a testiment to Josh's massage techniques. We think he is the BEST too!

I'd like to "borrow" your pic of the Golden Spoon dessert with chocolate chips to use in an article. And maybe the shot of the wall menu, too.

May I?

I *MIGHT* be able to credit it to this site, depends on the final editors.

PLMK!

It makes me sad that I don't have a kiwi lemonade and a panini in front of me right now. Oh how I wish they had been open for New Years Day.

I tried the Blueberry version today. It is delicious. It makes me want to brush my teeth, and I normally consider that a chore. I will keep you posted on the various flavors as I try them.

We were back at Javier's this past weekend with a good friend of ours. The place was packed and the earlierst reservation we were able to get were three hours later. We decided to try to capture the popular patio seats in the bar area instead. We were lucky and got a table within 10 minutes. This is actually my favorite place to sit in the restaurant, especially during a warm summer evening. We ordered food and drinks and of course got full on the chips and salsa before the food arrived. From our seats we had a great view of all the passerbys and all the hot California girls that our friend (and Ian) enjoy watching. ;)

I have been to the one in Calabasas (Los Angeles) and know fitness freaks (insufferable fitness freaks) who love the stuff. I'm sure it will be discovered later that they forgot to add some zeroes to their calorie calculations, but for the time being, indulge! Yummy stuff.

Since you likely won't get this Mercedes, with a positive spin I will say Mercedes isn't what it once was. They break down a lot. If you want a Mercedes, get an older one. Of course repairs for any of these types of cars will be a lot, and probably best to avoid.

I recommend a Volvo, perhaps a lease back with low mileage, under warranty, certified, like new, but less expensive. Volvos tend to run and run and run, and of course would not shy away from cold weather. They have the small SUV, the XC 90 I think it's called, so you might want to check into that.

MINI is a wonderful car, made by BMW, but not a lot of space in it for winter wear, skis and so forth, and once out of warranty you will have BMW prices for repairs. On the plus side, BMWs and MINIs rarely break down.

Good luck, and RIP to your old car.
