Shanghai Lilly-Chinese Restaurant in Mandalay Bay
So here we were in Vegas. The big night. We were going out to dinner, and then after that off to see my favorite show, the Love Show by Cirque de Soleil.
First was dinner.
Shanghai Lilly’s, but my ear was clogged.
I still cannot figure out what was happening with it, and I did not know then.
After swimming, or a shower, it would get clogged, and I could barely hear out of it, or not at all. This would last from minutes to hours and then go away. A friend of mine thought it was wax, but there was no real amount of wax in my ear.
So I sat with my right ear to Ursula, and had a very nice, and very quiet dinner.
The place was absolutely lovely when we walked in. The service was impeccable. The General Tso Chicken was amazing. I tend to like food that is a little stronger than what was served there. The tastes were more subtle, but lovely. They say that it is Cantonese and Szechwan.
We were given a booth with lovely curtains that gave you a feeling of privacy, but still let you get a feel of what was going on around you. There are crazy designer cloths hanging from the ceiling and wooden shelved dividers between you and the next table.
I highly recommend it for a relaxing and excellent dinner.
If you want more spicy flavors and views, then go to Tao (which is more of a bar, but still has amazing food.)
