Corso Cucina
This is another favorite restaurant of mine in Las Vegas. Just like Red 8, this one is also located on the casino floor of the Wynn Hotel. Again, this is another restaurant which is windowless and can be noisy since it is situated next to the casino. I tend to enjoy these types of restaurants. I find them less stuffy and more interesting because they are great for people watching.
Corso Cucina is divided into a bar area and a restaurant area with tables covered with table-cloths. I have only eaten in the bar area where I always sit in one of their booths. From there I watch all the people who walk to and from the shows (currently Spamalot is running at the Wynn.) This restaurant is also in close proximity to the poker room. When I eat at Corso I always order off the appetizer menu. My husband and I find that usually the best items in a restaurant can be found either off the appertizer menu or the dessert menu. Why waste your pocket book and calories on a big piece of steak. That is not to say that steak cannot be good.
However, I’ll take Bruchetta and a fine glass of wine over any piece of meat. Corso do offer some great bruscetta. I also love their salads, wood-fired pizzas and in particular the sweet dessert wine they serve, Moscato d’Asti.
Corso Cucina is open for dinner.
