Bialetti Cappuccino Maker
I like all things Italian. Since I’ve always had a secret wish I had been born Italian, I drink cappuccino like all good Italians do in the morning. I have had my share of counter-top cappuccino makers. None top my Bialetti Mukka Express stove-top cappuccino maker. It is fantasically easy to use, fantastically inexpensive, and it makes the best cappuccino by far. I’ll even venture to say that it makes better cappuccino than Starbucks (and I’ve been a Starbucks fan for decades.)
In order to make your cappuccino, you unscrew the two halfs of the Bialetti maker from each other. In the bottom half, you pour water until it reaches the level-line inside. Then you place the filter on top, and pour grinded espresso coffee into it. Next, you screw the two halfs back together again, and pour milk in the top half until it reaches the level-line. Then you press down the stream button, and turn on the stove. Voila, five minutes later, you’ll have a beautiful foamy cup of latte or cappuccino. It couldn’t be easier. I never need to watch the stove. I just leave it alone until I hear the hissing sounds.
I have the crome version. But you can also buy the pink version or the cow-patterned version for fun. This Christmas, I’m buying one for my sister as her Christmas gift. I hope she doesn’t read this blog.
