Chevy’s
Ok, I won’t make this long. I just want to say that we ate at the Del Mar location on Friday and it was great. One margarita, one slice, a side of black beans, rice, tomatillo, sour-cream, 6 small servings of salsa, 2 baskets of chips and many, many tortillas later (and only $18 poorer,) we left very satisfied and full. It is best mexican food anywhere.

I have eaten at Chevy’s several times since last posting - good times all. I one time saw a very sexy, thin, exotic looking Asian teen outside the window smoking a cigarette. I do not like smoking but the look of her, shorts, little heels and the way she blew out plumes of bluish smoke made me drop my fork. At that moment I ordered a large margarita and prayed to the Virgin Mary. All was well until the check arrived and I realized I had left my credit cards in my other trousers.
The dish washing machines at Chevy’s make smoke as well, but not bluish, and they do not wear shorts nor heels.

Chevy’s rock. The margaritas out of this world. You won’t find better tortillas anywhere. The black beans are amazing. I still cannot figure the secret spice their using. And let’s not forget the salsa. I’m in even when I eat the salsa with the fresh warm tortilla chips. I don’t care if the service can be so-so. The food is amazing, and that is all that counts.
