Ana Mandara-Vietnamese Restaurant in San Francisco

The restaurant is owned by Don Johnson. If you just want a break from shopping and don’t want a complete dinner, then I suggest sitting in the bar which is located on the second floor. The bar offers sumptuous chairs and couches, as well of a view of the bay outside. I always order a Quan Ho which is a cocktail made of rum, lychee juice and mint leaves. It is my all-time favorite drink. As appetizers we often order the lobster rolls. They are delicious. If we choose to have a full dinner meal there, we usually order the Mekong Basa with mango sauce which comes from the Mekong Delta in South-East Asia. If you are in the neighborhood, I strongly recommend you stop in to check out this restaurant. A few times during the week there is also jazz playing in the bar which can also be heard in the entire restaurant.

Don’t miss the Basa. Don’t let your wife have too many Quan Hos to drink, or you will never get her to stop.
